Soft Body Professional Artist Acrylic Color, previously referred to as Medium Viscosity Acrylic Color, is the original Liquitex acrylic formulation first made in 1956. Extremely versatile, Soft Body Acrylics have a creamy smooth consistency that makes them ideal for both large area coverage and fine line detail. These permanent acrylics are highly pigmented and have intense, pure color that won't shift from wet to dry. They dry to a smooth, even surface with good leveling and show little or no brush strokes. Soft Body Acrylics are perfect for most fine art and decorative art techniques. They dry quickly, won't yellow with age, and can be applied to just about any non-oily surface, including canvas, paper, fabric, board, film, glass, ceramic, masonry, and wood. Golden Heavy Body Acrylics 16 oz. jar primary cyan - The original line of Golden Artist Acrylics is known for exceptionally smooth, thick buttery consistency. It contains the largest assortment of unique pure pigments in a 100 % acrylic emulsion vehicle available to the professional artist. These colors offer excellent permanency and lightfastness. There are no fillers, extenders, opacifiers, toners, or dyes added. Each Heavy Body color is formulated differently depending on the nature of the pigment. Colors that tolerate higher pigment "loads" dry to a more opaque, matte finish. Colors that are more reactive and do not accept high pigment loading dry to a glossy finish and tend to be more transparent. Heavy Body colors contain no additives, such as matting agents. Golden Heavy Body Acrylics produce a film with excellent flexibility, and chemical, water and UV resistance. The milky emulsion dries transparent, allowing the pigments to show their full color. Pigments are chosen for the greatest purity and permanency within each chemical class. Acrylics dry quickly, and may be painted over immediately, yet complete drying will take longer. Cadmium orange, cadmium red dark, cadmium red light, cadmium red medium, cadmium yellow dark, cadmium yellow light, cadmium yellow medium, and cadmium yellow primrose colors are all chemically pure.
