Paint on non-porous surfaces--and print on paper--with
Createx Monotype Colors, the unique water-based, non-toxic, permanent paints crafted
specifically for making monotypes. Simply paint on any non-absorbent surface
(i.e. Plexiglas, glass, or enameled metal) and allow to dry.
Transfer your image to dampened paper by rubbing, printing pin,
or press. This unique water-based process allows unlimited time to
create the image, unlike oil-based inks which must be printed
before dried. Available in 4 oz. bottles.

Arches watercolor paper is acid-free, chlorine-free, and made of 100% cotton fibers
for extra strength and stability. Arches is mould made. As the
paper is tub-sized in natural gelatin and air-dried, it can take scrubbing,
scratching, and erasing while keeping the original intensity of the watercolor.
Arches uses no optical brighteners so its natural white color will not
yellow with age. It is excellent for watercolor, gouache, pen and ink,
acrylics, and calligraphy. Each block consists of sheets of paper pre-stretched,
glued together along all four edges, and supported by a rigid backing.
The top sheet is easily separated from the block by inserting a
knife under the sheet and running it around the edges. Blocks
of 140 lb. paper contain 20 sheets. Blocks of 300 lb. paper
contain 10 sheets.
